NEOGOV Online Recruitment Is Live
The Virgin Islands Department of Education is now live with our online recruitment system powered by NEOGOV. The feedback received is a positive indicator of NEOGOV’s user friendly, intuitive experience. A key reminder for NEOGOV applicants - notifications will be sent to you via e-mail and in some instances you will be required to log into your NEOGOV profile.

However, you are solely responsible for checking your e-mail periodically to ensure that you have receive any and/or notifications timely. Time sensitive notifications such as your online exam date and/or interview times are sent via email.

• If you already have an account, you can use your governmentjobs.com account. Your current applicant profile in the office of human resources will NOT carry over to the new system.
• For most jobs, applicants will need to apply online.

How Do I Find Out About VIDE Jobs?
The best way to find out about job openings is to visit the Job Opportunities section of our online recruitment system, where you can browse existing job listings, job descriptions, and benefit information. You can receive job notifications via email by signing up for notifications with NeoGov. Job vacancies are also advertised through postings in your respective Human Resource office. Current VIDE employees can browse for job openings and apply online postings on NEOGOV.

How Do I Apply?
Once you have found a job opening that interests you, you can apply online. See the instruction guide to create a profile and apply online.
You may also want to review "What to Expect After You Apply".
Please verify the application deadline for each vacancy, as the system will only accept applications during the announced recruiting period. Please note that job openings listed as "continuous" have no specific filing deadline. However, you should submit your application at your earliest opportunity, as continuous recruitment may close at any time.
Complete a separate application for each job vacancy is required. A resume or letter of interest will not be accepted in place of a completed application, but may be attached to an application as additional information. Also make sure to complete any required documentation. Incomplete applications will NOT be considered.

I have completed and submitted a VIDE application, can I submit a copy of that application?
No. Effective June 24, 2019, you must complete an applicant profile and submit a job application online with our new recruitment system, NEOGOV. Once you create a profile in NEOGOV, you reuse the same profile to apply for additional jobs online. For instructions on how to create a profile and apply for a job online, go to instruction guide.

I was previously convicted of a criminal offense. Can I still apply?
Yes. A conviction does not automatically bar you from employment. Each case is considered on its own merits.

What assistance is available for persons with disabilities?

I am a current VIDE employee. Do I still have to create an account and complete the entire application process?
Yes. Instead of manually applying for multiple job openings, candidates will create a user profile to submit applications and attachments (e.g. transcripts) electronically. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________
I don’t have computer access, how can I apply?
Computer access is available at the Division of Human Resources and at free public-use computers throughout the Virgin Islands. Note: Applications can also be completed using any smartphone. Applicants are able to take picture of the attachments and upload directly from their smart device. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________
